The Badaling Portion of the Great Wall.  The Great Wall was built by three different dynasties-Qin, Han and Ming.  This wall was part of the Ming dynasty built over 600 years ago and since restored.

At one point the wall went 5000 km with all three dynasties walls put together.

Near the Great Wall are the Ming Tombs.  This statue is of Emperor Yongle who is entombed at the Changling Tomb.
