CCAI Friends Journal

(Lea, Keith and Grace)  This is Lea writing for all of us.  The photo above is the famous "Red Sofa Photo."  Every adoptive family group that comes through the White Swan has a picture of all of their new children together.  Usually mayhem and crying ensue as the above photo shows--in fact, a few girls are even missing as it was difficult to get the toddlers and babies to sit together all at once!  It also shows how beautiful all the girls in our group are.  As a group we felt so lucky to be blessed with these girls--they are all so loving and fun.  Keith, Grace and I also felt lucky to be in CCAI Group 568 because of the fantastic people in the group.  We consider them good friends.  We all bonded in Luoyang as we were all mainly stuck in the hotel.  Every night their were groups of us eating together.  If we got bored, we just walked down the hall and found another family to talk to.  Everyone was so sharing. When I realized that all of Grace's clothes were big, so many came and offered me clothes for her!  When I had questions as a new parent, all the "veterans" were always there to help.  We also laughed a lot together--enjoying common interests and fun.   We will miss having everyone around, but hope to all stay in touch via CCAI and our Yahoo group!
